Investiture Ceremony for Prefectship:

An Investiture Ceremony is one of the traditional features of the school. On this auspicious occasion the student Council comprise of the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains and Prefects are pinned badges by the Principal followed by oath taking ceremony.

The main role of the Prefects along with Council are summed up in their oath when they "solemnly promise to maintain discipline, lead in the right way, and uphold the honour and good name of our School." They also "promise to discharge their duties loyally and impartially." They learn, as they work as Prefects, how authority and responsibility are inter-related.
