National English School Founder

National English School is the dream child of late Sudhir Kumar Saha (1922–2002) who founded the School with the mission of benevolence, of education the body and mind of the children. He was a philanthropist. He donated a large plot of land in Baguiati, Kolkata for a charitable hospital and he had a dream to establish an ideal school in the vicinity to impart a quality education. He was very simple and honest in his life. He wanted to establish a centre of education which would fuse the finest ideals of Indian education and culture with those of the western.
