Achievements in a Nutshell:

The students of National English School have been successful participants of various Inter-school Competitions organized by different well known bodies, such as The Telegraph, The Statesman, The Times of India, Birla Group and so on.This year our students were among the toppers in the TTIS Easy Writing Competition & also won in the TATA `Building the Nation` Easy Writing Contest. At the all India Inter School Drama Competition organised by the British Council, NES performers enacted Tagore`s "Kabuliwala" which was highly appreciated by the Judges.

Our students have grabbed the first position in the ASISC, West Bengal Debate Competition. Our students won first position in Power Point presentation, and acquired the second position in Quiz and Debate Competition at Franco Fieasta organised by St. Francis Xavier School. Our students stood third at Euphony Inter Schools Western & Eastern Dance Competitions. Our students have won medals in Cyber Computer Olympiad and secured distinctions in International Assesment for Indian Schools organised by Mac Millan. They were succesful in the IT Quiz by TCS, Science Quiz by BITM and Spelling BEE competitions by American Centre Library.

Games & Sports are also area of excessive interest for our students. They actively participated in Annual Sports Meet and the Football Tournament organized by Association of Schools for the ISC,West Bengal. They secured first position in North 24 Parganas Inter School Table Tennis Championship. Our Martial Art students won medals in the Karate contest organised by All India Karate Federation. They also bagged prizes in the Inter School Drawing competition. The experience they bring back from all this do a lot to enhance their skills.
